About the Client

Our client is a British IT company. They were developing a large application for a community of people taking part in volunteer work.

This app is being created to enable people to participate in volunteer initiatives locally or while traveling.

The Challenge

By the beginning of cooperation with us, the company had enough opportunities to develop the web and server parts of the project, but they lacked experience in mobile development. This was the main reason to outsource part of the project.

Since the application was supposed to be large-scale, to cover all participants in the process involved in volunteering and charity, as well as to give participants the opportunity to act both in their local region and in others (for example, while traveling) - our team had the task of developing a product with wide functionality, while making it convenient and easy to use.

The Solution

Using our experience and knowledge in the development of React Native, as well as sophisticated documentation and API provided by our partners from a British company, we have developed an application for organizing volunteer events and charity events. Here you can create an event (for example, cleaning the beach) and define its parameters: place, time, duration; add photos, as well as discuss with potential participants all the nuances in the chat.

In addition to creating your own event, you can take part in other people’s volunteer events and offer your help.

You can connect with other charitable and volunteer organizations, find like-minded people, or promote your own projects by attracting donations.

So, the customer received a ready-made application in which users can participate as volunteers, give donations, and organize events.

In addition, the app allows you to organize thematic meetings, raising people’s awareness of charity and volunteering, attract new participants, and just caring people who are ready to help.
